This trendy drink has become very popular in recent years. Already one glass of smoothie will fill your body with so many nutrients (naturally, depending on its contents) that it can easily substitute for a meal. In this handy liquid form, you can get your 5-a-day regarding both veggies and fruits. Moreover, it is fresh and very easily digestible. The cool part is how fast and easy it can be to care for your body – just imagine eating a whole banana or a pineapple, half a kilo of grapes, or an avocado.
That is the charm of smoothies. You combine things seemingly not appropriate for a meal together but just eligible for a smoothie. The energy it gives you will be charging you all day long. That´s another reason for busy workers to mix it up for breakfast with some interesting and healthy creations – take your favorite fruit, yoghurt or cream cheese, oat flakes or cereal and here you have an energy bomb which will keep you going for the rest of the day. Think of an ultra light lunch – lettuce, spinach, celery, apple, pear, and a banana. You can also use nuts and seeds to spice it up and add some healthy omega-3s. Your imagination doesn´t have boundaries!
